This Winter English Camp aimed to assist the underprivileged elementary school children to develop their interests in learning English. Through a number of creative activities and games, children not only could acquire the basic English terms but learned how to communicate with others, building up their sense of cooperation. We encouraged them to show their imaginative power and ingenuity. Besides, as a member of the English teacher training program system, we, the English Department expected that students could effectively make use of what they have learned from school to the English teaching field. In conclusion, both students who are going to be teachers in the future and the elementary students now could benefit from this camp.
