The Subic Bay Triathlon in the Philippines has been held for 26 years. The challenge of the hot climate has brought severe challenges to athletes from various Asian countries. The Chinese Taipei Triathlon team sent 18 athletes to participate in four groups. In the men’s elite group, Zhang Tuanzhen, currently ranked 136 in the Olympics, performed the best, won 11 and once again won Olympic points, actively marching towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The women’s elite group Zhang Jiajia won 10th and also won the Olympics. Points; China sent a total of 7 contestants in the youth group. The best performance came from Pan Yuting from Hualien Siwei High School. She finished seventh in the youth group and her performance was remarkable.
