The UT Center for Teacher Education and Career Development center took 12 excellent teachers-in-training to Hawaii. We visit the University of Hawaii and had lectures on culture, bilingual education, and local environmental problems. Also, we visit Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Honolulu (TECO), and had a throughout introduction to the history between Taiwan and Hawaii. The teachers in training will have a basic knowledge on bilingual education.
