The Department of Mathematics holds several lectures every year, inviting well-known scholars and industry professionals to give lectures to students, leading them to understand various fields related to mathematics. So that students can know the skills and knowledge needed to enter the relevant field. We hope to answer students’ confusion and help students determine their goals. This year we held three lectures related to career development, explaining to students the work of actuaries, cryptographic engineers, and how to prepare for attending graduate schools. These speakers have a background in mathematics at a university, and one of them is an alumnus of the department. Their lectures can help students understand the application of mathematics in various fields and give students a clearer blueprint for future goals.
