Breaking the top ten myths of marketing: From marketing myopia to statistical pterygium

This time we invited Lichung Jen, who is the vice principle of Providence University, to our university to have a speech about ten myths of marketing. In the speech, he said that the point of marketing is “read your mind, touch your soul”. Reading people’s mind means that we have to create value, and touching people’s soul means that we have to appreciate value. After we create value, we can appreciate value. Moreover, he talked about methods to create value and appreciate value, such as optimal pricing strategy, market share analysis, and big data customization analysis.
