The Department of Mathematics holds lectures related to mathematics every semester, leading students to understand the application of mathematics in various fields. This speech invited Dr. Chih-Yun Chuang from AMIS Technologies, to give a lecture in our department. This lecture was accompanied by an introduction to cryptography course offered by our department. The topic of the lecture was Introduction to Homomorphic Encryption. In his speech, Dr. Chuang introduced the commonly used ciphers and related mathematics, which aroused the students' high interest and had a better understanding of the related applications of mathematics.
