Cantonese junior class

Course Introduction: Cantonese Cantonese has a longer history than Mandarin. There are more than 100 million people in the world who speak Cantonese, and the number of native speakers of Cantonese is more than that of Hokkien. This course takes basic oral expression as the main goal, and Hong Kong society and culture as the theme, so that students can understand Cantonese, the original Cantonese characters and slang. Comprehensive oral exercises will be done in class.Videos and songs will also be interspersed in the class, so that students can come into contact with Cantonese and the authentic culture of Hong Kong from different aspects, and provide students with a practical and culturally meaningful Cantonese introductory class. Course targets: 1. Basic vocabulary pronunciation and use of nine tones 2. Hong Kong culture: commonly used Cantonese characters and slang 3. The expression of numbers, time, and money 4. Greetings, basic conversations and travel language 5. Introduction to Hong Kong Society and People's Livelihood Culture 6. The Queen of Hong Kong's music scene and song recommendations: Eason Chan, Angela Tse, Sammi Cheng, Jacky Cheung, Kelly Chan, Cheng Zhongji... Class content/theme 1 What is your name? What is it?
