We invited Dr. Marrisa Wu to share her training in school psychology in Australia. Of note is that in all the commonwealth countries, the title “Educational Psychologist” equals “School Psychologist” in the US. The training for an Educational Psychologist in Australia is similar with what is required for a School Psychologist in the US. The training includes intense coursework related to child development, learning theories, consultation and supervision, as well as clinical practicum. Dr. Wu also presented the career options for a title of Educational Psychologist in Australia. She also provided information and different aspects of studying abroad.
