The city governments have been dedicated to promoting policies the aging population, which include aged care, prevention of disabilities, senior-friendly and dementia-friendly environments. Seniors' health, quality of life as well as life expectancy are expected to be enhanced through medical care, health-promoting services and social welfare, leading to a decrease in DALE (Disability-adjusted Life expectancy). The forum was held in order to discuss and share experiences of senior health promotion and welfare for the aged population, and the optimized management of policies was further anticipated. Simultaneously, the superior aged health policies would be contemplated through the communication between the city governments.
