The General Education Center of University of Taipei held a seminar on the improvement of general education instructors on March 23, 2022. Professor Yang Peiling, who works in Fujen Catholic University, was invited to deliver a speech of EMI(English as a Medium of Instruction) teaching. Instructors can apply various skills to give EMI lesson, such as thematic teaching, cards or props, and technology-assisted instruction. In addition, professor Yang shared some techniques to help the listeners to design their courses. For example, we can use Quizlet to review the key points and use Kahoot or Jamboard to make a group discussion. After taking part in the seminar, it is hoped that EMI teaching would not be difficult anymore.
