Through the analysis of the characteristics of the five major calligraphy styles, such as seal, subordinate, kai, line and cursive, students can understand the writing characteristics of the evolution of Chinese characters, from the long mimicry and symmetry of seal characters, the flatness and swallowtail of subordinate.
