The speaker stressed the importance of picture book reading as babies wanting baby food because they are nutritious, fun/lighthearted, pure and clean, less word-related fibers, and a lot of fun and easy to understand. In this workshop, she introduced several DAP picture books based on colors, shapes, numbers, as well as well-known and enduring pictures books that are classics. Ms. Lai stressed on the fun and lighthearted part of picture books and shared several books that are rhythmic and game-like.
