Taiwan Flute Recording Project in the 21st Century-Contemporary Flute Technique Demonstration

Wu Zhengyu has been invited to participate in important international music festivals including the 2012 Taipei International Contemporary Music Festival, the 2014 De Link Music Festival in the Netherlands, the 2015 WOCMAT and the 2017 Curto-Circuito Modern Music Festival. His performances have been performed in Taiwan, China, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and other places, and he has been invited to Taiwan Chiao Tung University, Taipei University of the Arts, National Taiwan University of the Arts, Taiwan Tunghai University, Shanghai Normal University, Lectures and performances on modern music at Xiamen University of Technology, Jiangsu Normal University, Wuhan Conservatory of Music and other schools. Wu Zhengyu is currently the flutist of the Shanghai Baroque Chamber Orchestra and the principal flutist of the Shanghai International Union Chorus Affiliated Orchestra. In 2013, Wu Zhengyu organized a modern orchestra "TimeArt Studio" to actively promote ancient music and modern music. His first solo album "Ten Quatrains - Wu Zhengyu Flute Solo" was released in 2015 and was shortlisted for the Best Interpretation Award at the 27th Golden Melody Awards. His second personal performance album "Parallaxis" was released in 2018.
