The astronomy camp was held for five days, with five different astronomy themes: Moon, Mars, Sun, Black Holes and Astronauts as the curriculum of the camp. Each day's lesson was conducted by students of different themes for the third grade of the National Primary School, who transformed the science knowledge taught during the training into a lesson plan that matched the theme, and supplemented the lesson plan with homemade teaching materials and different small activities starting from the English illustrated book, the Sun theme with sunspot observation and telescope crafts by the planetarium teacher during the day, and the Mars theme with Mars rover crafts. The solar theme was accompanied by sunspot observation and telescope making by the planetarium teachers during the daytime, and the Mars theme was accompanied by Mars rover making. The students felt the feedback of the hands-on teaching during the camp, and were willing to continue to participate in the astronomy camps afterwards.
