Professor Yi-Yi Lin from the Department of Meteorology at NTU, specializing in satellite remote sensing, will give a talk on Alice's adventure in the wonderland: My God and My Science, describing her journey from the Department of Meteorology at NTU to the United Kingdom to do polar research, her experience of working in Singapore in an interdisciplinary way, and her return to Taiwan to have a child and start a new field of research on the interaction between super typhoons and sea level temperatures. He also started a new field of research on the interaction between super typhoons and sea level temperature.
