Invited by the Faculty of Science, Professor Emeritus Hongliang Lai, specializing in particle physics, the theme of his talk is Journey Beyond Plan -embrace science with engineering, describing from high school to university, as well as studying abroad and returning to Taiwan to do research, and then immigrating to Canada to work as an engineer, all with a strong sense of curiosity to satisfy the journey of his life.
