The speaker demonstrated how to get children talking about what they hear and see during the read-aloud, shared the story telling skills that she often used in class, and invited the audience to learn to engage children with storytelling. In the process, the speaker also introduced the materials that can be used in different activities. In the last part of the speech, the speaker invited the participants to share their personal thoughts and the challenges they encounter with in teaching.
