Prof. Ting shared her own experiences of conducting research and explained the exploration process of research methods, which helped the graduate students gain a better understanding of research methods. These methods include: 1. Ethnographic Research and Case Studies 2. Clinical Ethnographic Research 3. Action Research 4. Quantitative Research: Questionnaire Surveys 5. Integrating Big Data Analysis with Traditional Qualitative Research Finally, Prof. Ting also encouraged students to choose a research topic that they are interested in so that they can complete something meaningful!
