Special seminar lecture_The distance between disasters and us (wind disaster, flood disaster, slope disaster)
In 2015, the United Nations announced the "2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)". The SDGs include 17 core goals, which also cover 169 detailed goals and 230 indicators, guiding the world to work together towards sustainable development. Continued. Humanity is standing at the crossroads of key issues such as drastic global climate change, gradual depletion of natural resources, depletion of biodiversity, frequent spread of diseases, uneven food distribution, and increasing poverty. The imbalance of nature has caused humans to reflect on the past: Is the economic development model completely correct? How will the future development direction strike a balance between the natural load capacity range and human needs? Therefore, this course invites Wu Zhongming from National Feng Chia University to share the types of disasters that will occur under climate change and how to reverse the current imbalanced development model of the earth.
