From 2002 to 2020 the world was attacked by SARS and COVID-19 pandemic. People realize the threat of acute infectious disease. Infectious disease would be less if the theory of primary prevention can apply to the daily life. Therefore, we invite Dr. Da-Chen Chu, former Chief in general of Taipei City Hospital to share his working experience in facing the SARS and COVID-19 when he was served in City Hospital. In Dr. Chu’s speech, here we found the importance of the primary prevention, for example, health promotion and well vaccination.
