Interdisciplinary science games for young children

1.The Intersection of Literature and Science - From Playfulness to Paper Airplanes The instructor began by showcasing photos from a paper airplane competition. Subsequently, we were guided to create an advanced version of a paper airplane. We then conducted practical experiments outside the classroom, exploring different wing angles and nose weights to determine how far the airplanes could fly and how to make necessary adjustments. 2.Science through Filtered Picture Books - The Concealed Color Cape Using filter picture books as a motivational tool, the instructor led us through practical exercises to understand the principle of color disappearance under red/blue filters. This principle served as a foundation, allowing everyone to draw inspiration from imitation and encouraging further creativity in independent creations. 3.The Science Game Trilogy - Catapults and Innovative Game Concepts Employing a recipe-style teaching approach, the instructor guided us in creating catapults. These catapults were then incorporated into game scenarios. Different materials (such as colored paper, dice, and cups) were provided to each group, fostering a creative environment for the generation of new game concepts.
