In various applications, researchers usually would like to extract valuable information from texts or documents to figure out phenomena. When analyzing large-scale text data, using text mining techniques to convert unstructured text data into structured numeric data for efficient information exploration is expected. Today, I will present the fundamental concepts of text mining and then demonstrate how to analyze large-scale text using the proposed Bayesian clustering method. The content of today's presentation can be divided into two parts. Initially, I will explain the concept of text analysis and the preprocessing steps for textual data. Subsequently, I will introduce the proposed Bayesian clustering method and illustrate its application in analyzing news related to long-term care tragedies.
