"Art Curating Lecture Series- Second round" by JihWen Yeh

Based on the international performance stage, the lecturer shared his experience as a transnational art curator and producer, and discussed the international performance market and its current situation, competition situation and challenges faced. Provide students of this department with first-hand information on the current situation of the international performing arts market and enhance their understanding of the international performing arts industry. Lecturer | JihWen Yeh (International Curator) Founder of STEP OUT ARTS/Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Laban Dance Academy in the UK, dedicated to performing arts production, curation and management. Enhance the visibility and development space of artists, and promote transnational art collaboration. Experience In 2023, I applied to be the senior producer and co-curator of THE PLACE Taiwan project in London. 2015-2023 Executive Producer of Edinburgh Fringe Festival "Taiwan Season". Curator of the "Taiwan Season" Forum at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2020-2023. Producer of BEDFORD CREATIVE ARTS in the UK from 2015 to 2019. 2005-2008 Program Manager of Chinatown Arts Center (CHINA TOWN ARTS SPACE, today’s KAKILANG ARTS). From 2004 to 2005, he applied for the urban development art consultant position of London Westminster City Government. Founded STEP OUT ARTS in 1995. Awards In 2020, he won the Edinburgh Festival Fringe's "NATIONAL PRESENCE" award/THE INFALLIBLES AWARDS. 2023 Won the support of the British Council and participated in the ISPA International Performing Arts Association Annual Conference in Manchester, UK. In 2018, he was selected to represent the British Association at the European Performance Federation IETM.
