Geophysics utilizes physical methods to explore and study the Earth's environment. One of these methods is gravity surveying. By measuring the gravity acceleration values in different regions, we can infer the density distribution of subsurface structures, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the surrounding environment. After students learn geophysical methods in the classroom, they can gain practical experience on campus by operating instruments. This not only allows them to understand the operational procedures of geophysical exploration but also involves them in processing, analyzing, and interpreting experimental data. This internship provides students with a deeper understanding and appreciation of geophysics, while also nurturing their interest in the subject, which is beneficial for their future career prospects.
