Through the Bread Lovers movie, we see that the protagonists in the movie have left their home countries from the Philippines to work as caregivers in Taiwan. In order to survive and make money, they give up their family life, family and love, and work alone in an unfamiliar environment. Through the movie, the speaker explores the issues of migrant workers and women.
