The instructor first guided us to contemplate the definition of a walking tour. Upon delving into the topic, the speaker used six steps to teach us how to design a guided tour, starting from brainstorming themes, finding tour locations, to concluding with a perfect ending. Tour design not only emphasizes thematic overall structure, coherence between attractions, and accessibility but also must meet the needs of travelers. Therefore, the speaker also had students discuss in groups, choosing a celebrity and arranging a tailored tour itinerary for them. Finally, through sharing and exchanging ideas among groups, students not only gained a better understanding of tour design but also learned many creative ideas.
