For this lecture, we invited Ms. Lim Hui Zhen from Singapore to share with us her teaching experience related to Chinese language. It includes experience in teaching practice, different teaching methods and strategies, Chinese teaching materials, teaching activities, and the philosophy and spirit of ABLE teaching. The teacher took us through the different ways and processes of Singaporean teachers during training, as well as how teachers teach and how students learn Mandarin. Starting from the students, we should design curriculum activities, first understand the difficulties of students' learning, and then break through and encourage children to overcome these difficulties, and use interesting activities throughout each course to arouse children's motivation and interest in learning Chinese. Through this exchange activity, Singapore and Taiwan can learn from each other, and I am glad to have this exchange activity, which not only promotes the development of Chinese language teaching, but also enriches teaching resources and teaching concepts!
