Not Just Stories: Using Picture Books to Help Children Overcome Trauma and Heal

This speech is to introduce the practical application of picture books in Child trauma therapy and activity design. The purpose is to enhance the understanding of graduate students in the Department of Psychology and Counseling regarding the use of picture books in counseling practices. It aims to improve the competence in the areas of practical work on how to utilize picture books in addressing physiological, emotional, and cognitive aspects of child trauma issues, and to learn through hands-on experiences how to design therapeutic activities involving picture books.
