Dr. Shijun Wang is the youngest Chinese piano associate professor in North America. He graduated from The Juilliard School and the Eastman School of Music, studying under Kalichstein and Yablonskaya. In 2006, he excelled at The Juilliard School, earning Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. In 2012, he pursued a doctoral degree at the Eastman School of Music under Professor True, obtaining a Doctorate in Piano Performance and Music Literature in 2016. Since 2015, he has been teaching at Weber State University in Utah, focusing on piano performance and pedagogy. His teaching has produced remarkable results, with many students admitted to top music schools in the U.S., earning him widespread recognition. Additionally, through masterclasses, he nurtures students' musical expression and enhances their technical proficiency, dedicating himself to piano education.
