The project team hopes that through our participation, Grandpa Bear Baby can Elderly volunteers improve their profession To train and enhance service-related knowledge, we started planning and preparing the "Grandpa Bear Baby Series Training Course" in July 2012. We hope to teach the elderly volunteers the latest parenting knowledge through training. For this class, we invited Ministry of Education Shuanghe Hospital Lu Mengzhe, attending physician The teacher came to give an in-depth explanation to the elderly volunteers about the safe care and developmental milestones of infants and young children. After the professional training course, they all spent the last 20 minutes together to create a DIY baby bear clay. The clay can be pinched, molded, slapped, and swung. , it is friendly to the elders. In addition to training the grasping ability and muscle strength of the hands, it can also be used with some tools to create, train the fine movements of the fingers, and stimulate the creativity of the brain through the process of free creation. and imagination. As a pediatrician, Dr. Lu understands very well that the healthy growth of infants and young children is the most important issue for parents, and the preschool period from 0 to 6 years old is the golden period for baby growth and development. From newborns, infants to children, parents can check the growth status of their children through the growth curve. Each growth stage also has different development milestones that can be used to evaluate the baby's development progress. Dr. Lu emphasized that through daily observation and outpatient evaluation , parents can not only check whether the baby's growth and development meet the standards, but also arrange early treatment (referred to as early treatment) as early as possible when necessary, and grasp the golden treatment period. From the process of observing the child, parents can also feel the baby's gradual progress. The joy of growing up. Dr. Lui also shared with the elderly volunteers that the development of infants and young children is like a fast-moving train, arriving at the next stop in the blink of an eye. Because of this, every moment of growth is precious. Elderly volunteers, while paying attention to the baby's growth progress, must also make good use of this precious time! The planning team hopes to make full use of local elderly talents, and even integrate grandparents and grandparents to have fun together across generations, so that the elders can regain their joy and enjoy the fun of entertaining their grandchildren.
