This course aimed to help the community residents and seniors master and deepen their social media management skills, enabling them to stay better connected with family and friends and actively participate in online community activities. The project leader began with a brief opening speech, introducing the main content and objectives of the day's course. The instructor then reviewed the basic concepts of social media management from the previous session and presented some success stories, giving the participants a preliminary understanding. Afterward, the students and instructors split into small groups, each responsible for guiding the participants step by step through practical operations—from registering social media accounts to setting up personal profiles, posting content, managing friends, and interacting effectively. The project team patiently answered questions and provided hands-on guidance to help the participants complete each step. Throughout the course, the community residents and seniors actively engaged, listening attentively and practicing what they had learned. They showed great interest in topics such as how to gain followers, create appealing content, and analyze social media data. The project team explained these techniques in detail, using real-life examples, and shared some practical tools and resources. During the interactive session, participants shared their learning experiences and raised specific questions, such as how to deal with online bullying and protect personal privacy. The project team addressed each question and provided practical advice. As the course neared its end, a small test was arranged, allowing the participants to apply what they had learned through practical operations. Finally, the instructor summarized the course and encouraged the participants to continue learning and applying the knowledge gained. After the event, the community residents and seniors expressed their gratitude for the project team's patient guidance and shared that they had gained a lot from the course.
