Next, using a few well-known picture books as examples, she demonstrated how to engagingly guide students into the world of picture books, sparking their interest in the storylines and helping them focus on listening. Finally, the speaker shared lesson design examples that integrate picture books into cross-curricular teaching, showcasing the rich outcomes from students and providing profound inspiration to the audience, expanding the possibilities of picture book applications. Through the speaker's guidance and demonstration of English picture book teaching, as well as techniques for integrating cross-curricular teaching into picture book activities, the seminar helped participants better understand how to use English picture books to stimulate student interest and facilitate learning across disciplines. They will be able to apply the teaching techniques and activity design methods learned in future English picture book instruction.
