The good cycle of "you and me share the same good" - sustainable community advocacy, care and site management - turning the sea of souls with calligraphy
On March 17 (Sunday), the project team invited Professor Liao Qinghua from the Department of Art and Design of National Dong Hwa University to give a lecture on "Using Calligraphy to Turn the Sea of the Soul". During the lecture, Teacher Qinghua first shared his own experience with the participants and students. Teacher Qinghua called himself an "octopus man" and loved sports since childhood, especially tennis. After graduating from college, he worked as a full-time tennis coach for three years. I started practicing calligraphy diligently in middle school. I majored in philosophy in college, studied communication arts for my master's degree, and got a doctorate degree in design. Now I am passionate about calligraphy art creation, which is similar to the image of the octopus. And he also integrated these connotations of life into his own calligraphy elements, presenting creative calligraphy with personal characteristics. At the same time, it is also in line with the post-modern trend of thought that construction and innovation can only be achieved through continuous deconstruction.Teacher Qinghua often said: "Writing calligraphy and doing Tai Chi go well together. When doing Tai Chi, you will use your heart to understand your mind, your mind to adjust your breath, your breath to promote your form, and finally your form will understand your spirit. Just like the physical practice of calligraphy, you will coordinate your movements. and Thoughts make the mind relaxed and the body and mind harmonious. ” He feels that with the rise of the Internet in today’s society, written characters are gradually declining. Therefore, he hopes to encourage students to write more and inspire creativity through the spatial structure of characters. He also hopes to use calligraphy to make cultural contributions Fire is passed down from generation to generation and will never become extinct. Course activities Teacher Qinghua hopes that participants and students can boldly use various media to engage in calligraphy creation, regardless of the form used to express personal deep feelings about life. Even if you use traditional pen, ink, paper and inkstone to create, you can still Including techniques such as blank space, lines, layout, randomness and speed, concrete forms of expression and abstract picture situations are cleverly integrated into artistic expression. During the writing process, participating students and students not only learned skills, but more importantly, found a way to talk to their hearts, turning over the ocean of the soul and allowing a quiet realm to emerge quietly. At the end of the activity, teacher Yinghui also brought Participants in the course used their bodies to move calligraphy together. Through the feeling of silence and movement, participants and students gained a deeper understanding of the art of calligraphy. With deep understanding, I also gained inner peace and satisfaction. The planning team hopes that through this event, participants and students will know that calligraphy is not only an art form, but also a spiritual experience that can help us find inner peace and harmony. The planning team believes that this event will be of great benefit to everyone The impact on personal growth and spiritual development is profound.
