From student to entrepreneur-my entrepreneurial journey and the growth story of Carry International
The entrepreneurial journey of Yan Youqian, the CEO of Carry International Digital Co., Ltd., reflects his keen market insight, innovative thinking, and ability to navigate adversity. Under his leadership, Carry Marketing quickly became the youngest listed company in Taiwan. With a bold spirit of challenge and an indomitable attitude, Yan established the esports and boxing event brand "Qiang Shang," successfully bringing Taiwanese boxing into the mainstream and creating more opportunities for athletes. In the "Qiang Shang" events, he leveraged the influence of social media celebrities and employed a "traffic perpetual motion machine" strategy to continuously drive engagement and enhance brand impact. Yan emphasizes the importance of self-growth, viewing every setback as a source of nourishment. He believes that experiences gained in adversity should be regarded as "noble mentors" and encourages learning and growth without repeating past mistakes. He also advises young people not to overly rely on others’ experiences but to use their imagination to solve problems in different ways. Regarding talent selection, Yan highlights that second language proficiency and problem-solving wit are the most valued traits in a company, especially in the global market. This talk showcased Yan Youqian's qualities as a successful entrepreneur and inspired the audience to pursue their goals with unwavering spirit, creativity, and a keen sensitivity to market changes. His experience teaches us that success is not coincidental; it is the result of continuously challenging oneself, learning, and adapting.
