This special lecture provided students with rich content and insights on entrepreneurial thinking, perspectives on the publishing industry, and self-discovery. First, regarding entrepreneurship, the speaker taught students how to assess their suitability for starting a business and used the “Bento Theory” to help them predict the current and future impacts of each decision. This theory enables students to systematically analyze the long-term benefits and risks of different options when facing choices. Additionally, students learned how to write a business plan, emphasizing the importance of focusing on concrete details and avoiding vague descriptions. This not only laid the foundation for their entrepreneurial projects but also provided guidance for writing academic reports. The speaker’s experience encouraged students to be bold in their endeavors, reminding them that while hard work does not guarantee success, the learning and exploration gained along the way are equally valuable. The lecture also delved deeply into the operations of the publishing industry, helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s current state, challenges, and opportunities for integration with other sectors. Through these insights, students came to understand the diverse nature of the publishing industry and its job roles, prompting them to reflect on their own career paths. At the same time, the lecture made students realize that once a hobby becomes a profession, maintaining passion requires even greater dedication. This reminded them to be prepared for the real-world challenges and uncertainties when choosing a career or starting a business. In terms of self-discovery and career planning, the lecture inspired students to discover their interests in daily life and encouraged them to explore what they truly love. By sharing their own experiences, the speakers demonstrated how to give their all during the exploration process, guiding students to reflect on their future paths and find a balance between their interests and their careers.
