During the lecture, the speaker shared her own academic and career transition experiences, allowing the audience to deeply appreciate the power of passion. She originally majored in English but gradually developed a strong interest in Chinese during her studies. Although her foundation in Chinese was not initially strong, driven by her passion for the language and through relentless effort, she ultimately succeeded in gaining admission to a master’s program in Chinese. Her story conveys an important message: interest is not only a driving force for learning but can also serve as an engine propelling one’s personal development. As long as one persists, seizes opportunities, and is not afraid to ask questions, there is a chance to realize one’s dreams, no matter how late or difficult the start. The speaker also provided participants with a deeper understanding of the current state of the industry by analyzing the business models of the private tutoring sector. She introduced “mobile teaching,” a new educational model, and pointed out that if educators can break free from traditional frameworks and design curricula with innovative thinking, they can more flexibly meet the needs of different students. Additionally, she highlighted the importance of competency-based education, particularly in designing educational curricula and creating test questions, and discussed how to use text to create content that meets market demands. Her insights revealed the potential for educational innovation to the attendees and inspired them to explore how to leverage their own expertise to launch new ventures. Throughout the lecture, the speaker repeatedly emphasized that combining professional expertise with personal interests is a key to shaping the future. Whether developing careers in the tutoring industry, publishing, or other fields, one must possess an innovative mindset and identify unique strengths from one’s own background to provide differentiated services to the market. She encouraged the audience to reflect on their professional strengths and explore how to transform them into long-term careers through strategic career planning. This planning process requires not only knowledge and skills but also the cultivation of the right mindset; ultimately, building a strong reputation is essential to gaining a firm foothold in a highly competitive environment. The speaker’s personal experiences also provided the audience with valuable insights. Drawing on her personal journey, she demonstrated that it is never too late to pursue one’s dreams. As long as one dares to explore one’s true self, combine one’s expertise, and continuously innovate and experiment, one can find one’s own path. The entire lecture was filled with positive energy, helping participants gain a deep understanding of the connection between entrepreneurship, personal interests, and professional expertise.
