Director Chen Jianyou of Zifeng Law Firm visited the AI Enablement Autonomous Learning Class [Session 3] Ethics and legal common sense of AI used in academic research
The Department of Social and Public Affairs of Taipei City University used the weekend to hold the "AI-enabled independent learning" course and designed four lectures aimed at improving students' AI literacy and practical abilities. Session 3 "Ethical and Legal Common Sense of AI Used in Academic Research", Lawyer Chen Jianyou, Director of Zifeng Law Firm, deeply discussed the legal issues of AI in academic research, including the fair use of copyright and the compliance strategy of generative AI. Attorney Chen pointed out that researchers need to understand the copyright restrictions of AI-generated content and maintain the principles of transparency and honesty in academic creation to avoid potential plagiarism or illegal risks.
