The Department of Dance held the 4th "Dream Project" Dance Creation Competition on November 26. This event provides an opportunity for student creators in the department to have a training ground. They will be divided into ballet, modern and ethnic groups in the form of solo dance presentations. , hoping that students will be able to combine technical and creative skills in dance creation, appropriately integrate the theme into it, and clearly explain it through their personal bodies. In addition, 6 well-known dance choreographers at home and abroad are invited to serve as judges for the dance creation competition. They will provide students with professional feedback and suggestions after the competition to promote the improvement of their creative abilities, refine their artistic expression, and hone and accumulate creative experience. Students in this competition will perform solo dances, focusing on the creative aspect. Since creative ability is already a must-have in contemporary dance performing arts, students are encouraged to have the courage to try and explore through the competition. During the competition, we can see that the creative ideas presented by the participating students may not be complete or have errors in execution, but from the idea of ​​the work, to the arrangement, to the repeated rehearsals and modifications to the final presentation on the competition field, no matter whether they win or not , can all learn from it. The off-campus tutoring committee members who were invited to participate not only gave some creative suggestions but also appreciated the students' presentation.
