This Beimen walking tour was arranged by professional tour guide, Ms. Hung Hsing-ru, and the walking itinerary is as follows: Gathering at the entrance steps of the main hall of the North City Dazhong Hall - Chongqing South Road (Beiyi Daughter/Court of Justice/Presidential Office/Head Office of the Bank of Taiwan/National Development Council)-Hengyang Road-Juyuan Department Store-Chengzhong Market -Star Café -National Center for Photography and Cultural Studies -North Gate　　 　　 　　Mr. Hung first introduced the history of the school, the evolution of the building, its features, and special techniques, and then led us through the history of the development of Chongqing South Road and Hengyang Road. The special features of the Kikuyuan Department Store coincided with an exhibition at the store, so the docent led the students to visit the store, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of how Kikuyuan Department Store became a national monument. At the Star Café, Ms. Hung combined stories related to the Department of Chinese Language and Culture, such as the Literary Youth Gathering and Zhou Mengdie's experience, to give students a deeper impression of the Star Café. Finally, Ms. Hung concluded her presentation with the history of the Beimen Post Office across the street from Beimen, as well as the changes in the architecture around Beimen, and the government's protection of Beimen and other historical buildings.
