Talk:Application of molecular data in conservation genetics: some examples from beetles
In the seminar, we invite Dr. Jen-Pan Huang from the Biodiversity Research Center, Academia Sinica. Using the stag beetle Lucanus as an example, Dr. Huang explained how genetic data at different scales can provide us with varying levels of information. From simple genetic diversity clustering to extensive genetic variation data, these can help us infer the historical causes that have shaped the current genetic structure of the species, thereby offering important insights for conservation strategies.
