The good cycle of "you and I share the same good" - sustainable community advocacy, care and site management - the 113th annual Ministry of Education University Social Responsibility Co-cultivation Activity─[KAVIAZ TUMANANU!-International spread of USR influence]
On July 11, 2024 (Thursday), at the invitation of the Ministry of Education’s University Social Responsibility Promotion Center and Kaohsiung Medical University, we participated online in the 113th annual Ministry of Education’s University Social Responsibility Co-cultivation Activity - the third session of "KAVIAZ TUMANANU! – USR "International Diffusion of Influence", this event aims to promote university social responsibility (University Social Responsibility Responsibility, USR) concept and strengthen the role and influence of universities in social development. The event involved many teachers, experts and students from different schools and groups, providing a platform for everyone to exchange experiences and share knowledge. After the event began, the director of the University Social Responsibility Promotion Center of the Ministry of Education gave an opening speech, emphasizing the importance of USR in modern university education and its impact on a global scale. Then a representative of Kaohsiung Medical University introduced the school’s efforts in promoting USR efforts and achievements, these sharings not only demonstrate their respective practical results, but also serve as a guide for other participants. Participants provided valuable reference and inspiration. The University Social Responsibility Practice Plan has been implemented so far and has entered the middle and late stages of the third phase of the plan. The USR Project's vision is not only focused on domestic but also international. Through cross-border and two-way experience exchanges, it measures the practice of social responsibility internationally. not only learn from each other, but also activate more development motivations for USR domestic projects. Kaohsiung Medical University shares the implementation So far, we have cooperated with universities and institutions in the Philippines, Tanzania, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries. This co-training activity focuses on the performance of domestic university USR program partners and their international partners. and Invite international partners to participate in the presentation and learn together how to make the spirit of USR continue to develop sustainably. There were multiple keynote speeches at the event, which covered various aspects of USR, such as (1) demonstrating the results of USR international cooperation projects, (2) learning how to generate international diffusion of USR influence, (3) permanently communicating with other countries. Cases of continued development To share and inspire the practical direction of USR, everyone shared their research results and practical experiences, and put forward many constructive suggestions. These contents not only enriched the knowledge system of the participants, but also inspired everyone to think deeply about USR. During the activity, everyone shared their opinions and experiences.
