On July 12th (Friday), Director Minda, Teacher Yiheng, Teacher Xinhui, project members and students of the project team came to The Yonghe District Civil Rights Community Development Association in New Taipei City held a unique social media course for site residents and community elders. This course was designed to allow site residents and community elders to understand the daily application and application of social media. My personal operation hopes to help local people and community elders better grasp modern technology and use social media to stay in touch with family and friends. The course started at nine o'clock in the morning. Director Minda, Teacher Yiheng, Teacher Xinhui and project members and students met in the morning At eight o'clock, the venue was set up in the classroom, the equipment was debugged, and preparations were made for the arrival of local people and community elders. At nine o'clock, everyone arrived in the classroom one after another. Teachers and students warmly welcomed them, helped them find their seats and distributed learning materials. After a brief introduction by Director Minda, the course officially began. First, Teacher Yiheng introduced social media. Basic concepts and commonly used platforms, including Facebook, LINE and Instagram, etc. Next, teachers and students were divided into small groups The group provides one-on-one guidance to field residents and community elders on how to register accounts, set up personal information, and post updates. Many field residents and community elders are not familiar with the operation of smartphones. Teachers and students patiently walked step by step. Demonstrate and help them complete each operation step by step. During the interactive session, people at the venue and community elders raised their own questions, such as how to add friends, How to view messages, join group chats, and more. Teachers and students gave detailed answers and demonstrated practical operations, helping local people and community elders solve many practical problems. Before the end of the course, a small test was also arranged to allow local people and community elders to practice what they had just learned. skills to consolidate the learning results. After the activity, people at the site and community elders expressed that they benefited a lot. They thanked the planning team, teachers and classmates for their patient guidance, and hoped that there would be more such learning opportunities in the future. For the planning team, this activity is not only a teaching process, but also a valuable social service experience. They were deeply satisfied and honored by the experience. In general, this social media course activity ended successfully with laughter and laughter. People at the venue and community elders learned new skills, and the planning team also gained a full sense of emotion and accomplishment.
