Visit to New Taipei City Aizhong Service Center of Xinlu Foundation
This activity aims to allow participants to understand the operation model and philosophy of Ciyou Sheltered Workshop through visits and interactions, and to enhance their understanding and support for the work of sheltered workshops through practical experience.First of all, the event started with a briefing on Ciyou Sheltered Workshop, which introduced the background, purpose and service targets of the workshop, allowing participants to gain an in-depth understanding of how the sheltered workshop helps people with disabilities improve their quality of life and self-worth through work opportunities. Then, students personally participated in handmade soap DIY activities, experienced the production process of factory products, and felt the spirit and technology of factory employees who focus on production. The finished handmade soap can be used as a personal souvenir or gift, adding practicality and meaning. Afterwards, we conducted a guided tour of the factory, visited the production line and work area, and gained an in-depth understanding of the daily operation mode of the factory. We also introduced the main packaging materials and products to understand the creativity and strength of the sheltered factory. Finally, they will actually experience packaging and communication activities, and work with sheltered workshop employees to complete product packaging, promoting mutual understanding and communication during the interaction. The event hopes to convey the value and mission of sheltered workshops through hands-on participation and direct interaction, and to arouse more social attention and support.
