Teacher Liu Qiang is executing the National Science and Technology Council's precision sports science research project: Main project: "Smart Batting Training Field – Smart Batting Training Field (2/4) (NSTC 113-2524-H-007-003)" and Sub-project 4: "Development and Application of the Bat Sweet Spot and Impact Point Measurement System (2/4)." To promote deeper research and international collaboration opportunities, Professor Yuichi Hirano, Executive Director of the Japan Baseball Association (also an Honorary Professor at Hosei University and former President of the Japan Baseball Society), was invited to conduct baseball equipment experiments, provide guidance on baseball biomechanics for batting, participate in a seminar, and give a special lecture.
