We were honored to invite Wei Zhi-Yu, the co-founder of Quanxing International, to lead a one-day workshop that delved deeply into the carbon issues closely related to our daily lives. The goal was to enhance participants' awareness and understanding of sustainable development. With the growing importance of sustainability across various industries, there has been a significant rise in demand for green talent, making it one of the dream careers for many job seekers. The event began with an introduction to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), helping participants understand the key considerations for businesses in driving sustainable transformation. The instructor shared several classic cases related to SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) and CE (Circular Economy), allowing participants to observe global trends in sustainable development. These cases not only provided insight into successful experiences from various countries but also sparked innovative thinking on sustainability topics. The instructor's clear and approachable explanations helped everyone gain a clearer understanding of these complex concepts. Finally, the workshop emphasized the importance of sustainable development in future career planning. Participants learned how to integrate sustainability concepts into their academic fields and gained a clearer direction for their future careers. This event was not just an introduction to sustainability, but also an important learning opportunity to enhance competitiveness and prepare for future challenges.
