Visited Van Lang School and Taipei School in HCMC
In order to expand the number of Vietnamese students, we have arranged two local key high schools to introduce the enrollment. Established in 1978, Van Lang School is a Vietnamese-Chinese bilingual school in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. The school teaches Vietnamese in the morning and Chinese in the afternoon, and is the only school in HCMC that teaches traditional Chinese characters, making it a high-quality school that is very popular with local Chinese parents. Taipei School in HCMC was established in 1996 as a school for children of Taiwanese businessmen in order to stabilize the lives of Taiwanese businessmen living in Vietnam and provide their children with the same level of formal education as in Taiwan, founded by the Overseas Community Affairs Council and under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. The Director of Academic Affairs of the school, Cheng Wei-Yu, is an alumnus of University of Taipei. UT and Taipei School in HCMC have had discussions about enrollment and study abroad projects, and have been seeking opportunities for future cooperation.
