【USR Hub】Playful by Name, Promising a Joyful Life in West Taipei - Management and Practice of Playful Urban Marketing - Expert Advisor Forum
To enhance the development of the explanation systems for both software and hardware related to Ximending, the Department of History and Geography conducted a field feature inventory using the following documents: "Ximending Cultural Experience Site Registration Form," "Ximending Cultural Experience Conceptual Framework," and "Ximending Cultural Experience Site Resource Features Record." The experts and scholars present included: Professor Xu Shumin, Dean of the College of Humanities and Arts at Taipei City University, Director Zhou Guoding of the National Environmental Research Institute’s Environmental Education Certification Center, Teacher Yang Xiuxuan, Municipal Consultant of Taipei City, Director Zhang Qinpeng of the Taipei City Local Education Center, Teacher Gao Chuanqi, a cultural worker in Wanhua and Director of MuseLin Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd., Director Xu Rongchong and Teachers Guo Daxuan and Lin Junsheng from the Department of History and Geography at Taipei City University. The following resolutions were discussed: 1. Defining the scope of Wanhua (Ximending) and distinguishing marketing locations. 2. Selecting the unique features of Ximending, such as its culture, geography, products, and landmarks, with an inventory of places like the 30+ year-old local stores, nationally certified cultural assets, or culturally significant sites. Entertainment venues include Wan Nian Building, Lion's Forest, cinemas, and red envelope halls. The most beloved hotels or business inns for travelers were also considered. 3. Conducting market research in commercial areas like Ximending Red House and the Ximending Pedestrian Zone, recommending key figures or notable personalities such as Li Zhiyong, Director of the Western Operations Department of the Taipei City Cultural Foundation, Liu Jinlong, Chairman of the Taipei City Ximending Pedestrian Zone Area Development Promotion Association, Honorary Chairman Hong Mingtong, Zheng Zijing, Cai Qingguo, owner of Shanghai Lao Tianlu, and Ximending expert Lin Hengsheng. 4. Conducting a field feature inventory categorized by food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, recreation, and shopping, and carrying out a small travel path inventory, which will be digitized. 5. Teacher Gao Chuanqi recommended the following reference books: (1) "Stories of Taipei's Inner City: A Historical Walk Through Chongqing South Road" (2) "Stories of Taipei's Inner City: Memories of a Mother at the Zhonghua Shopping Mall - Working at 'Baiguang Ice Fruit Shop,' where Lin Qingxia was discovered." (3) "The Glorious Era of Ximending: Its Beautiful Charm, Their Youthful Memories" 6. The experts suggested that the project attempt to apply for certification as a wall-less environmental education field.
