On Friday, July 12, 2024, Director Min-Da led the project team to the Mingchun Community Development Association in Yonghe District, where they held a community course planning discussion meeting with Executive Director Qiu. The key agenda items for the meeting were as follows: 1. Confirmation of Details for [Intergenerational Symbiosis, Healthy Life] - Walk and Treasure Hunt Activity The [Intergenerational Symbiosis, Healthy Life] - Walk and Treasure Hunt activity aims to encourage seniors to regularly use the "Walking App" developed by Director Min-Da and students, fostering good exercise habits and promoting community interaction. Director Min-Da and project team members will participate in the activity at the community. The event details are as follows: - Date: August 9, 2024 (Friday) - Time: 09:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Location: Minzu Park, Yonghe District, New Taipei City (No. 33, Minzu Street, Yonghe District) 2. Follow-up and Discussion Topics - Current community collaboration and the venue’s methods and goals - Vision for the symbiotic community - Sharing practical implementation experiences of the symbiotic community - Story about the grandmother (after dementia) who had a dream of learning to play the piano, and how the community helped realize it - Dementia care: From social workers to the community, providing support during difficult times such as family tragedies, through community companionship.
