【USR】The Good Cycle of "You and I, Together"—Advocacy, Care, and Field Management for Community Sustainability - Community Social Network Survey1131025
On October 25th (Friday), the project leader, Director Min-Ta Chuang, and the project team conducted a community social network questionnaire interview survey with 33 volunteers and residents from the Minquan Community Development Association. The key observations and findings are summarized as follows: Key Findings from the Survey: 1. Strengthened Community Cohesion: Interviewees commonly expressed that community cohesion has significantly improved through the implementation of activities. These initiatives provided platforms for interaction, fostering closer relationships among residents. The enhanced communication within the community also facilitated the establishment of stronger social networks. 2. Impact of Professional Resources: The professional resources provided by the project team were deemed pivotal for community development, particularly in building social networks and creating economic opportunities for residents. University expertise enabled greater participation in community affairs, empowering residents to enhance their roles in community development through training and education. 3. Cultural Heritage and Innovation: Cross-sector collaboration has driven achievements in the preservation and innovation of cultural values within the community. Residents noted that these activities not only encouraged participation but also contributed to the community's sustainable development. Participants found personal value and a sense of belonging through their involvement. 4. Formation of Collaborative Networks: The implementation of cross-sector partnerships allowed the community to access external resources and solidified internal cooperation networks, laying a robust foundation for future growth. Volunteer training activities emerged as a key component, improving residents’ skills in community management and organization, enhancing operational efficiency. Training and Activity Outcomes: Participants noted that training programs and activities not only improved organizational structure but also attracted more residents to engage in community development. This increased efficiency and provided avenues for future opportunities. Residents highlighted how the integration of external resources and professional guidance facilitated cultural preservation and smooth execution of innovative activities, boosting economic opportunities and offering younger community members pathways for entrepreneurship and growth. Community Expectations and Future Development: Interviewees expressed optimism about the community's development potential. The team's involvement enabled better integration of internal and external resources, creating sustainable momentum. The success of cross-sector collaboration has led to notable progress in various areas, including cultural preservation and the promotion of innovative initiatives. 5. Strengthened Social Networks: The activities have built more robust social networks within the community, creating a solid foundation for future development. Participants were optimistic about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, emphasizing the importance of ongoing collaboration for continuous growth. Conclusion: Through this project, the community has achieved significant improvements in cohesion, cross-sector collaboration, and cultural and economic development. These activities have not only increased residents’ sense of participation and belonging but also paved the way for the community’s sustainable future. The integration of professional resources and external partnerships continues to enhance the community’s potential for growth and innovation, fostering a promising environment for all members.
