SGS: During this visit to the inspection laboratory, we observed various tested products, such as sporting equipment and fabrics. We discovered that certifying a product requires a significant amount of time and countless inspection procedures. Additionally, we learned that every item must pass inspection before it can be listed for sale. Visiting SGS was a very refreshing experience, as it provided an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the testing laboratory processes and observe the procedures. It was fascinating to see that some tests require up to tens or hundreds of thousands of repetitions and must meet the regulatory standards of different countries. The process is rigorous and repetitive. The professional skills and meticulous attitude of SGS testing institutions provided valuable experience and knowledge, opening up more possibilities for graduate students in their future learning and careers.
